DESIGNER'S NOTES

An exciting Fox & Chave silk pocket square after the pattern Golden Lily by William Morris.

Golden Lily is one of William Morris's most celebrated textile designs, created in 1899 by his associate, John Henry Dearle, under Morris's guidance at Morris & Co. The pattern is a quintessential example of the Arts and Crafts Movement, which Morris spearheaded, emphasising craftsmanship and the beauty of natural forms.

The design is richly detailed with an intricate pattern featuring an abundant arrangement of intertwining flowers, leaves, and stems in a lush, flowing depiction of lilies, acanthus leaves, and other stylised floral motifs.

This Fox & Chave silk pocket square is the perfect match for the Morris Golden Lily silk tie in our collection.
